Wiedza and Praktyka, Polish publisher of ePedagogika, Portal Oświatowy and Portal Kadrowy, became a new shareholder of a startup supporting schools in solving problems with peer violence - RESQL. Rąpała Law Firm was responsible for supporting the process.
RESQL is an innovative, comprehensive system supporting schools in solving problems with peer violence, created with the full support of the school community, i.e. students, teachers, principals and parents. RESQL includes: a mobile application for students, a system for managing student-school communication, a proprietary tool for handling reported incidents, intervention simulations, lesson plans, evaluation tools, as well as training and workshops conducted by SWPS academic staff.
Wiedza and Praktyka acquired 25% of the shares of the company that owns the RESQL and SignaLink applications. Thanks to this investment, Wiedza and Praktyka has become the only publisher that offers both substantive publications and portals, as well as tools supporting school administration and management.
The team of the Rąpała Law Firm, consisting of: Krzysztof Rąpała (legal advisor), Anna Mierzwiak (attorney) and Sebastian Kozłowski (legal advisor), was responsible for preparing the investment documentation and handling the Due Diligence process on behalf of Wiedza and Praktyka.
